Our Vision
The Grizzly Flats Dream
We see a church where the hurting, hopeless, depressed and confused can find love, acceptance, forgiveness, hope, guidance, and encouragement. We see a church that is non-traditional, casual in style, identifying with our surrounding community and culture. A church which intentionally helps people at a level they can understand and relate to. We will be known for our love.
We see a church guided by the Great Commission and the Great Commandment. We see a church reaching those who don’t attend church Communicating the Good News up and down the mountain, with those without a church home. We see hundreds Connecting in Fellowship, growing larger and smaller at the same time. Larger through weekend services and smaller through small groups.
We see a church Committing to Spiritual Maturity. A church which teaches God’s word in a simple, practical way that can be applied to daily life. A church which exalts the Lord by exalting His Word, the Bible, teaching unity in the essentials, liberty in the nonessentials and above all committed to loving each other.
We see a church Cultivating service, the spiritual gifts, and abilities of each member, helping everyone fulfill their God-given calling and ministry. We see a church whose members ARE the ministers, allowing unlimited ministry potential by applying biblical ministy principles.
We see a church casual and contemporary in its worship style, which believes in and experiences the presence of the Holy Spirit in its worship experience as we Celebrate God’s presence together.
We see a spiritual and social Center for the Community. A spiritual hub, for: church services, weddings, funerals, recovery groups, social events, community events, and fellowship. A place where ALL feel the love of God and ALL feel the love of God’s people and we do ALL for the Glory of God.
